Pineapple Quilt
Designed by: Eleanor Burns
A Quilt in a Day Company
Since Colonial times, the pineapple has been known as a symbol of hospitality. For generations, quilt makers have expressed goodwill by using the pineapple shape in pieced blocks. Eleanor calls on her magic to simplify this treasured pattern using 1 1/2" fabric strips. The pattern is made in rounds and has Four-Patch blocks for separation. Use of modern fabrics in a wide range of color and design make this beloved, traditional pattern fresh and new!
